Brittany Hawkins

Director

Brittany Hawkins was born and raised in Moab, Utah. Her family owned a pharmacy and always instilled the importance of education. After high school she went to Westminster College where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Psychology with a minor in Sociology.

She then went back to Moab where she was able to volunteer as an EMT and work in a Family Medicine Clinic. In 2011 she moved back to Salt Lake City to attend the University of Utah. She took chemistry, biology, and physics courses so she could understand both the social and physical sciences. During this time she also worked at a family medicine clinic where she really enjoyed working with children and our refugee population.

Brittany grew up loving sports and the outdoors, and believes in teaching and encouraging children to choose healthy lifestyles and choices that will carry over into adulthood.  She is very close to her family and has a dog named Abbie who she loves very much!

Brittany knows that early childhood education sets the tone for the children’s future, and she is very excited to be part of the Saint Sophia School community.
