WE WANT YOU! We love having volunteers at the Saint Sophia School. The home/school connection is a very important one. Being part of the Saint Sophia School Team involves parental participation.
Volunteering is easy! Sign up for a time to help in your child’s classroom, help out on a field trip, make phone calls at home, participate in setting up and running a fundraiser for the school, help clean up the grounds. Work with students and other parents, run the Atelier, teach a skill…..and this is only a small sampling of what you can do to be an active part of the team.
Your obligation as a parent will be to contribute 20 hours a semester volunteering for the school community. You must complete your first 20 hours between September 6, 2016 and December 31, 2016 and 20 hours between January 6 and June 1, 2015. You will be billed $20 per hour for any unfulfilled volunteer hours each semester. Assessed fees will be due on January 3, 2016 and June 2017.
